RECIPE QUILT

Try these fabulous homemade glazes and toppings on your next slice of ComfortCake® and be sure to send us your favorites for sharing in our Recipe Quilt!


AMY'S CITRUS DELIGHT GLAZE

  • Melt 1/3-cup butter in saucepan.
  • Add ½ to 1 teaspoon grated LEMON,
    ORANGE OR LIME peels.
  • Add 2 cups powdered sugar.
  • Add 2 to 4 TBS fresh lemon juice or water to
    glaze until consistency that will drizzle
    evenly.
  • Use pastry bag to pipe on glaze decoratively.

    A beautiful citrus twist to any ComfortCake®!

 

POWDERED SUGAR DUSTING

For a quick, easy decorative touch, put ½ cup confectioner's sugar into a wire net strainer and shake over a ComfortCake®. Decorate with berries or flowers. Viola! You can hang out your shingle as a caterer extraordinare.


 

CJ'S 100% NATURAL SASSY STRAWBERRY SAUCE

  • Wash 1 pint strawberries and remove the stems.
  • Slice and place strawberries in a container with a cover, (preferably Tupperware).
  • Pour in 1 cup of water. Pour ½ cup of sugar (or to taste) over the strawberries.
  • Seal tightly and lightly shake.
  • Place in the refrigerator overnight for sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Stir before serving and enjoy!
